The aim of Uzazi Wena is to assist adolescent and youth to thrive by building self efficacy, so that they are able to make informed choices about their life. We do this collaboratively, adolescents and youth help us curate the programme, this ensures the programme relevance to the target population, while capacitating youth.

our Building Blocks

These five components are the building blocks for the Uzazi Wena Programme.

HEALTH INFORMATION

These lessons covers a variety of topics such as; Understanding Society and Self, Puberty and Changes in adolescence, Risk Behaviour, Consent and Boundaries, Teen pregnancy and HIV/AIDS.

LIFE SKILLS

Life skills sessions are crucial for adolescents and youth as they equip them with the essential tools needed to navigate the complexities of daily life, we do this by promoting personal development, resilience and empowering youth to transition successfully into adulthood looking at topics such as effective communicative, values and peer pressure.

EMPOWERMENT HUB

Empowerment Hubs is a safe space created for beneficiaries to connect with each other, we discuss topics centred around mental well-being, environmental health and skills development tackling social norms and stigma, while having fun in the process.
